To provide a superconductive flywheel electrical storage apparatus that can store electric power efficiently by performing magnetic levitation stably and permanently by using a magnetic levitation apparatus wherein superconductors are used for the rotor and the stator.
A superconductive flywheel electrical storage apparatus comprises a rotating body composed of a flywheel 10, a rotating shaft 11 fixed to the flywheel 10, and a non-contact torque transmission component 2 coupled to the rotating shaft 11, and a magnetic levitation apparatus 9, 12 that is provided with an inner vessel 8, a radiation shielding vessel 6 disposed around the inner vessel 8, and a vacuum container 3 disposed around the radiation shielding vessel 6 and includes a superconductor for supporting the rotating shaft 11 contactlessly.
