Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a superconductor having a high quality thin superconductive film. CONSTITUTION:An off-state substrate 3, whose surface is step-shaped, and inclined at an angle of about 4 deg. in the crystal array direction, is used as a substrate 3. A thin oxide superconductive film 4 grows from the side of the step and it is arranged similarly in every direction. It is, therefore, possible to obtain a thin superconductive film free of faulty twin crystal and provide a high performance superconductor.
