To provide a superfine particle sintered body which has the same porosity on the surface as a porosity on the interior in a stereoscopic shape, and has an even capillary force characteristic as a whole.
A predetermined amount of superfine particle powder is poured into a filling mold 10 comprising a copper outer mold 11 and a copper core mold 13 and, thereafter, the whole of the filling mold 10 is heated in vacuum at a temperature lower than the melting point of the superfine particle powder to form a sintered body. Subsequently, the filling mold 10 integrated with the sintered body is immersed in a copper etching solution, for example, nitric acid having concentration of 30% and the filling mold 10 is dissolved and removed. The copper etching solution does not dissolve the surface of the sintered body and, therefore, the superfine particle sintered body 3 after dissolving and removing the filling mold 10 has the same porosity on the surface as a porosity on the interior without damaging a surface fine pore shape in an arbitrary stereoscopic shape.
