Abstract:
To provide an auxiliary machine attachment structure of an internal combustion engine which can attach an auxiliary machine to the internal combustion engine by preventing the enlargement of a dimension of the internal combustion engine in a height direction.SOLUTION: At a side face 3a of a cylinder head 3 along an alignment direction of cylinders, there are formed: a bulge part 15 which is bulged to the outside from the side face 3a of the cylinder head 3, and extended along the alignment direction of the cylinders, and in which an exhaust passage part is formed; an exhaust flange part 16 which is protruded to the outside rather than the bulge part 15 from the side face 3a of the cylinder head 3, and in which an exhaust aggregation part, a first exhaust port 14A and a second exhaust port 14B are formed; and a first boss part 35 and a second boss part 36 to which a starter generator is attached. The first boss part 35 is formed between the bulge part 15 and a lower end part 3b of the cylinder head 3, and the starter generator is attached to the side face 3a of the cylinder head 3 via the first boss part 35 and the second boss part 36 so as to adjoin the exhaust flange part 16 in the alignment direction of the cylinders.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
