To constantly bring down a substance to be melted, stably into a primary combustion chamber by providing guide means, which directs the rotatingly moving substance to be melted, obliquely downward, on an upper portion of a supply cylinder.
A supply cylinder 5 defining a cylindrical-shaped space is formed between an outer cylinder body 2 and an inner cylinder body 3, and an intermediate floor portion 7 is formed inside of a lower portion of the outer cylinder body 2 in an annular manner to hold a substance 6 to be melted, charged into the supply cylinder 5. Provided on an upper portion of the supply cylinder 5 is a guide device 14 for obliquely downwardly directing the rotatingly moving substance 6 to be melted. The guide device 14 comprises a guide plate 15, of which a front side opposite to the direction of rotating movement of the substance 6 to be melted is inclined upward relative to a rear side thereof to be slidingly in contact with the substance 6 to be melted, a support rod 16 angularly supporting the front side of the guide plate 15, and a cylinder device serving a drive device to angularly support the rear side of the guide plate 15 to hold it at an optional inclined angle.
