Title:
SUPPLY PUMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3211785
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven type supply pump especially suitable for use in a discharge end part of a wet type roughly milling roller with an economical structure and make the whole height of the supply pump low by transmitting the driving force of the motor to the supply pump through a bevel gear mechanism.
SOLUTION: A wet type roughly milling roller combined with this supply pump 40 is provided with a pulverizing means comprising two rollers installed in a container and a discharge pump 40 is installed in the discharge end part of the container. The supply pump 40 comprises a pump impeller 2 to be rotated in the housing, a first bevel gear 20 is fixed in a hollow shaft 18 fitted in a shaft 9 to which the impeller 2 is attached, and the first bevel gear 20 is interlocked with a second bevel gear 19 on a driving shaft 22 having a horizontal axial line. By rotating the second bevel gear 19 by a motor 12, the shaft 9 and consequently the impeller 2 are rotated through the interlocked bevel gears 19, 20 and therefore, a material roughly milled by the wet type roughly milling roller can be introduced into the pulverizing means.
