Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a plural socket terminal which is not dangerous even when a person erroneously touches it by interposing an impedance detecting type electronic circuit having an electronic switching means between the plug socket terminal and a feed line. CONSTITUTION: An electronic switching means is formed of a complementary SCR, transistor element, or serially connected TRIAC 110 and DIAC 120. The electronic switching means is provided, for example, between a power source input line of AC 115V and a plug socket 122, and a required capacitor 118, a resistor 102 and the like are arranged, whereby an impedance detecting type circuit is constituted. This circuit is automatically operated in such a manner that a safe and very small current is carried when a human body having a large impedance touches plug socket terminals 124, 126, and the full voltage of the power source current is substantially applied when an electric equipment having a small impedance is connected thereto.
