PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support clamping device that can selectively erect and support any support to fix it onto a top plate of a desk or the like even with the difference of cross-sectional shape of the support such as cylindrical or rod shape and the slight diameter difference of the support.
SOLUTION: A support clamping device is composed of a cylindrical body A and a clamping body B. In the cylindrical body A, a tapered through hole 2 is formed at the center, and a bolt head bearing seat 3 is formed downward inside the through hole 2, while an upper face is formed into a cylindrical support receiving face 5, and a screw 4 is formed at a lower outer face. The clamping body B is formed in approximately horizontal U-shape for holding the edge part of a top plate between the upper and lower sides, and a threaded hole 9 to be threadably-engaged with the screw 4 formed at the lower outer face of the cylindrical body A is formed in an upper piece 8 of the clamping body B. A bush 11 is interposed at an inlet of the tapered through hole 2 and tightly fastened and supported to the through hole 2. A bolt rod 12 is inserted in the bearing seat 3 in the through hole 2 from below. and the thread 12a of the bolt rod 12 is threadedly engaged with the lower end part thread receiver of a cylindrical support and fastened to pressure bonded and support the cylindrical support to the receiving face 5 of the cylindrical body A.
