PURPOSE: To improve the developing efficiency of software by displaying a mark on a flow diagram in order to specify the process designated by designating means.
CONSTITUTION: A storage means 1 stores the data on each process of a flow diagram obtained through a structuring analysis, each flow set between the processes, the processes serving as the start and end points of each flow, etc. A display means 2 displays the data stored in the means 1 in the form of a flow diagram. Then a designating means 3 designates a process, i.e., a factor that produces a flow included in the flow diagram displayed on the means 2. A processing means 5 displays a mark on the flow diagram displayed by the means 2 in order to specify a process designated by the means 3. In such a constitution, the software having a network-shaped module structure is easily designed with the direct use of the flow diagram.
