To provide a support device for a flower vase and hanging plate provided with the support device, on which the flower vase can be hung so that the mouth of the flower vase faces almost right above.

A hanging plate 1 has a support device 4 and a hanging device 5. The support device 4 has at the base end of a support base body 7 a part 6 to be attached, and also has at the leading end of the support base body 7 a contact support part 8 which supports part of a flower vase 2 in contact therewith. The support device 4 attached to the hanging plate 1 by means of the attached part 6 supports part of the flower vase 2 via the contact support part 8 in such a manner as to push it out ahead of the hanging plate 1 so that the mouth 2a of the flower vase 2 hung on the hanging plate 1 faces almost right above.
