To provide a vehicle support device in a traffic jam reducing a driver's operation load in driver's brake control, steering control or suspension control in a traffic jam, avoiding degradation of comfortableness, and appropriately supporting such that collision damage is reduced at the time of collision with a following vehicle.
A brake ECU 22 supplies a command current according to a brake pedal stroke S to a brake motor 34. The brake ECU 22 decides whether a vehicle travels on a traffic jam road or not, on the basis of output signals from a traffic jam switch 36, a vehicle speed sensor 38, a radar sensor 40 and a navigation device 42. When the brake ECU 22 decides that the vehicle travels on a traffic jam road, the brake ECU 22 supplies a large command current compared with a normal state to the brake motor 34.
