Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide support equipment capable of reducing a burden on a patient, and reliably supporting the head of the patient over a long time in treatment of a cranial nerve disease.SOLUTION: Support equipment 30 includes a seat 50 including a seat part 31 on which a patient sits and a backrest part 32 for supporting the back of the patient, and a head support 37 attached to the seat 50 for supporting the head of the patient. The head support 37 includes a base part attached to the top part of the backrest part 32 for supporting the occipital region of the patient, and a movable part provided on each side of the base part so that an angle with respect to the base part can be freely adjusted, and the angle can be maintained, for restricting the movement of the neck of the patient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
