Abstract:
To provide a support device capable of mounting two dampers composed of the same member on both sides in the width direction of an opening/closing body while making the entire device compact.SOLUTION: A support device includes two dampers that rotatably support an opening/closing body configured as a toilet seat or a toilet lid with respect to the main body and are attached to both ends of the opening/closing body in the width direction to apply a resistance force to the opening/closing body in the closing direction. Each of the two dampers includes a housing, a rotor, and a shaft, and the rotor has, at both ends in the axial direction, insertion-type connecting portions into which the other ends of the shafts can be inserted, respectively. The two dampers are attached such that the attachment directions of the shafts are opposite directions by connecting one end of each shaft to the opposite end of both ends of each rotor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
