Abstract:

To provide a support for a fuel reforming catalyst, in which micropores, mesopores and macropores are uniformly distributed and which has excellent heat transfer characteristics and excellent mass transfer characteristics and consequently can enhance the activity of the fuel reforming catalyst, and to provide a method of preparing the support.

This support for the fuel reforming catalyst includes aluminum and aluminum oxide (Al2O3) encapsulating the aluminum, wherein a total volume of micropores and mesopores is in the range of 0.1 to 1.0 ml/g per unit mass and a volume of macropores is in the range of 0.4 to 1.2 ml/g per unit mass.
