To provide a support insulator pressing metal fitting with high universal use to a diameter of an electric wire with a low possibility of damaging a front surface of the electric wire even in the case where the electric wire is continuously fixed to a lower end side of a support insulator for a long period.SOLUTION: A support insulator pressing metal fitting 1A comprises: a thickness plate-like body part 2 of which a length L1 in a center shaft direction of an electric wire is longer than a length L2 of a direction orthogonal to a center shaft of the electric wire when it is attached to a support insulator; a pair of fixing parts 3 that is projected to each long sides 2a of the body part 2; a first guide groove 5 that is projected along a front surface 2c of the body part 2 and a long direction of the body part 2; and a second guide group 6 that is projected along a back surface 2d of the body part 2 and the long direction of the body part 2. A width W1 of the first guide groove 5 and a width W2 of the second guide groove 6 are difference. In a cross section in the long direction of the body part 2, a bottom 5a of the first guide groove 5 is curved in a convex shape to a direction separated from the front surface 2c, and a bottom 6a of the second guide groove 6 is curved in a convex shape to the direction separated from the back surface 2d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
