PURPOSE: To provide a support insulator for a rigid electric overhead line which can adjust accurately and simply the location of the rigid electric overhead line fastening face.
CONSTITUTION: A support fitting 5 of a support insulator 1 for a rigid electric overhead line has stage parts 5a, 5b at the two end parts opposing to each other. Adjustment pieces 13a, 13b are inserted between both stage parts 5a, 5b and a floor 6 respectively, shafts 15a, 15b of both adjustment pieces are rotated so as to lower operational parts 17a, 17b, both end parts 5a, 5b of the support fitting 5 abutting thereon are lowered, and location of the rigid electric overhead line fastening face of the support insulator 1 of rigid electric overhead line is adjusted. After completion of the adjustment, a resin-made bag is inserted in a gap formed between the support insulator 1 for the rigid electric overhead line and the floor 6 and fluid resin is injected and solidified in the bag so as to form a pad 11. After forming the pad 11, a bolt 9 is threadly attached to a buried plug 7 so as to fix the support insulator 1 for the rigid electric overhead line. The adjustment pieces 13a, 13b can provide fine adjustment so that rigid electric wire overhead line fastening face can be adjusted accurately and simply.
