Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the execution work, by providing a receive member for handrails and forming a receive face turned upward for the handrails and providing projections with a sharp end at the receive face, in a support metal tool supporting bar-form handrails.
SOLUTION: A support metal tool 1 is formed to provide a screw seat 2 fixed on a wall face of a building K with screws, a bracket 3 protruded to the front face side of the screw seat 2, and a receive member 4 for handrails, fixed to the front end of the bracket 3. The receive member 4 for handrails is formed of an arcuate and semicylindrical receive member body 41 and a pair of fixing projections 42 protruded on the handrail-receive face 41a of the receive member body 41. A handrail T is put on the handrail-receive face 41a. And further, a pair of through holes 44 made in the thickness direction are formed in the receive member body 41 and wooden screws 5 are inserted in the through holes 44 and screwed in the handrail T. Accordingly, the installation works of the handrails can be simplified and the labor can be saved.
