PURPOSE: To support a handrail pillar in a short construction period and inexpensively.

CONSTITUTION: Drilling positions 3 for support pillar holes 2 are marked at the prescribed intervals on the upper surface of a projection 1 from the end of a balcony floor slab W along the lengthwise direction thereof. The holes 2 of the prescribed depth are formed with a drill at the marked drilling positions 3. Then, the holes 2 are filled with a bonding agent 5, and bolt members connected to the lower end of pillar support members are coupled to the holes 2. Furthermore, the level of the support members is aligned with a jack for temporarily fixing the members. Then, the members in temporarily fixed state are left for the preset time and the agent is cured, thereby fixing and supporting the members.
