To provide a support post structure in which a wedge receiving part which is not used is eliminated and a position to mount a wedge receiving part can be selected freely, the support post structure being configured to install a diagonal member or a horizontal member provided in a brace for a temporary scaffold.

A support post structure 10 for a temporary scaffold comprises: a support post body 20 which is formed from a columnar rod member 21 and includes a plurality of through hole parts 22 formed at predetermined intervals at positions on the same line in an axial direction of the rod member 21 while penetrating the rod member 21 orthogonally with a center axis a1 of the rod member 21; a movable wedge receiving member 30 which is formed from a cylindrical body 31 that can be inserted to an outer circumference of the support post body 20 and includes a fixing hole part 32 penetrating the cylindrical body 31 orthogonally with a center axis a2 of the cylindrical body 31, and four wedge receiving parts 33 extending at positions on the same line in axial directions of the fixing hole part 32 and the cylindrical body 31 and at positions of phases different therefrom at 90° integrally on an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body 31; and a lock member 40 including a fixing pin part 41 which is inserted integrally into the through hole part 22 of the support post body 20 and the fixing hole part 32 of the movable wedge receiving member 30.
