To provide a support structure for a conveyed article capable of suppressing an increase in cost in a mixed line of multiple models.
The support structure for the conveyed article is provided with a receiving unit 5 provided on the upper side of a floating base 3 and having a flat surface-like upper surface on which the conveyed article W is placed; an elastic body 6 and a damper 7 provided between front and rear parts 3a, 3b in the conveying direction of the floating base 3 and a conveying base 2; and a displacement sensor 9 for measuring a position of the conveyed article W in a conveying direction relative to the conveying base 2. Since the receiving unit 5 having the flat surface-like upper surface can be also used for multiple models, it is not required that a positioning receiving unit exclusive for the respective models is designed and manufactured. Further, the floating base 3 is positioned relative to the conveying base 2 by a restoration force of the elastic body 6, and the conveyed article W is prevented from being deviated from the receiving unit 5 by the inertia force by a braking force of the damper 7. Further, even if the position deviation of the conveyed article W occurs, the reliability of the conveying line can be ensured by utilizing position information by the sensor 9.
