Abstract:
To provide a support structure of a crankshaft capable of inhibiting influence of noise or vibration from being enlarged when the crankshaft collides with a bearing.SOLUTION: A support structure of a crankshaft includes a connecting rod, a crankshaft having an incomplete round shape cross section orthogonal to an axial direction, and a bearing rotatably supporting the crankshaft. The crankshaft has a first region in which a radius of curvature is set to equal to or less than a prescribed value, and the first region is provided at a position in which a load direction calculated at least by inertial force of a motion component provided for each of cylinders, a combustion compression load, and the moment between the cylinders faces an inner peripheral surface of the bearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
