Abstract:
To inhibit vibration of a mount bracket which connects an internal combustion engine with a vehicle body member.SOLUTION: A support structure of an internal combustion engine has: an internal combustion engine (2); a vehicle body member (8); and a mount bracket (5) which supports the internal combustion engine on the vehicle body member. The internal combustion engine has: an internal combustion engine body (3); and a cover member (10) jointed to a joint surface facing a vehicle body member (8) side. The cover member has: a body part (11); and an expansion part (12) which expands to the vehicle body member side further than the body part. The expansion part has: a lateral wall part (12A) extending to the vehicle body member (8) side further than the body part (11); and a vertical wall part (12B) extending in a vehicle vertical direction and connected to a vehicle body member (8) side end part of the lateral wall part. A first cover fastening part (18) to which the mount bracket is fastening is provided at an upper part of the lateral wall part. A second cover fastening part (16) to which a lower part of the mount bracket is fastened is provided at the vertical wall part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
