Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of stretching members in the horizontal direction by stretching the stretching members arranged along the vertical boundary sections of adjacent plate glasses with the prescribed tension, and arranging the stretching members along the horizontal boundary sections of adjacent plate glasses with one or more horizontal boundary sections skipped. SOLUTION: The upper end sections of stretching members 4 are fixed to a beam 2, then the stretching members 4 are stretched. The stretching members 4 are fastened to a skeleton or horizontal stretching members 3 are fitted to the stretching members 4 at the positions required against the wind pressure. When the wind pressure is applied, the tension of the stretching members 4 receives this wind pressure, and the fastening to the skeleton or the fitting of the horizontal stretching members 3 at all stages is not required, i.e., the horizontal stretching members 3 are fitted at every other stages. It is not required to support the tare weight of the plate glasses during the stacking of H-metals, no horizontal steel beam is required, and the fastening to the skeleton or the fitting of the horizontal stretching members 3 at all stages is not required unlike when general H-metals and X-metals are used.
