To provide a support structure for a sink-cabinet top plate whereby one process can be reduced from bending processes required when the top plate is press formed, and workability in the attachment of the top plate to the cabinet can be improved.
A top plate 1 forms an inward portion 1d, bent rearward, at the lower end of a front pendent part 1c hanging from the front end of a raised part 1b formed at the front edge of the top plate 1 made of a metal plate, and an upward portion 1e made by bending the front end of the inward portion 1d upward almost at right angles. A top bar 3c is disposed on a door-stopper front plate 3b stretching in the upper part of the front of a cabinet 3, such that the face of the front end of the top bar 3c contacts the rear side of the upward portion 1e of the top plate 1. Further, on the top face of the top bar 3c, a top-plate support device 5 nearly in the shape of a letter L is provided such that the erect portion 5a of the device is positioned further forward than the top bar 3c. Thus, the erect portion 5a of the top-plate support device 5 receives and supports the rear side of the raised part 1b of the top plate 1.
