PURPOSE: To reduce the installation area for a compressor and improve the working performance in the fastening work by bolts by dividing the supporting legs for supporting the body of a motor-driven compressor into the body side supporting leg parts and the fixed metal fittings for the fixation onto a base plate.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of body side supporting leg parts 3a and 3b in flat plate form are installed onto the body container 1 of a motor-driven compressor. The fixed metal fittings 4a and 4b fixed onto a pair of body side supporting leg parts 3a and 3b by bolts 11 are installed directly under the body container 1 through a vibration-proof member 7 onto a base plate 5. A pair of body side supporting leg part 3a and the fixed metal fitting 4a fixed onto the leg part 3a are arranged so as not to be superposed in the view from the direction of insertion of the bolt 11 for other body-side supporting leg part 3b and the metal fitting 4b fixed onto the leg part 3b. The body side supporting leg parts 3a and 3b and the fixed metal fittings 4a and 4b are fixed by the insertion of all the bolts from a same direction.
