To provide a supporting apparatus for a packaging box capable of absorbing dimensional errors when the packaging box is processed and assembled and preventing the packaging box from being damaged, and to provide a boxing system using the apparatus.

The supporting apparatus 1 supports the packaging box 8 conveyed by a conveying means 2 at a predetermined position, and has a plurality of bodies 5 arranged on the conveying means 2, and having inner wall faces 10 arranged on the conveying means 2, and opposing the side faces 8a of the packaging box 8, and a plurality of spherical bodies 6 provided on respective bodies 5 and elastically provided so that their heads appear freely out and in from openings formed at the inner wall faces 10 through elastic members. The side faces 8a of the packaging box 8 are brought into contact with the head tops of the spherical bodies 6, and according to energizing forces of the elastic members generated by pushing the heads of the spherical bodies 6 to the inside of the body 5, and by making pinching pressure from at least two directions act to the side faces 8a of the packaging box 8, the packaging box can be supported while the dimensional errors of the packaging box 8 are absorbed.
