PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture and assembly of a pipe supporting bracket by constructing its vertically segmented rolled sheet members from a lower web portion with a foot, a semicircular intermediate portion and an upper web portion.

CONSTITUTION: A footed pipe supporting member 1 is assembled from a pair of vertically extending rolled sheet members 2 and 3, which each include a lower web portion 4, 5 provided with an outward bent foot 6, 7. The lower web portions 4 and 5 respectively connect to semicircular intermediate portions 8 and 9, which in turn connect to upward extending different web portions 10 and 11 respectively. The lower and upper web portions 4, 5, 10 and 11 are coupled together by threaded bolts 14 and 15 and their associated nuts.
