Title:
SUPPORTING CONSTRUCTION FOR COMBUSTOR LINER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62168933
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce thermal stress, by placing a spring of protrusive circular arc shape to be interposed between the rear end part external wall of a liner and the inlet internal wall of a tail cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: A protrusive circular arc-shaped spring, brought resiliently into contact with the external wall of a liner 1, is placed interposing in an annular clearance between the rear end part external wall of the liner 1 and the inlet internal wall of a tail cylinder 2. The spring 10 is fixed to the liner 1 through spot welded parts 20. In this way, the generation of thermal stress in a lengthwise direction can be reduced because a liner rear end part slides in its lengthwise direction even if the liner 1 generates thermal elongation.
