PURPOSE: To precisely adjust the surface height of a base plate and snap-off clearance and attain an easy snap-off for certainly transferring cream solder on the base plate by providing a first motor which moves up and down a table of supports for the base plate, and a second motor which moves up and down the table and a base on which clamps are located to clamp the base plate.

CONSTITUTION: When a base plate 4 is transferred between clamps 6 and 7, a first motor M1 is brought in operation to ascend a table 20, and the base plate 4 is pushed upward by supports 23 so that the warp of the base plate 4 is corrected and the surface height of the bas plate 4 is adjusted. After that, a cylinder 11 is brought in action to clamp the base plate 4 and then ascend motor is brought in operation to ascend a base 9 and the base plate 4. In this case, the rotating amount of the motor M2 is controlled so that a snap-off clearance (t) is maintained between the base plate 4 and a screen mask 1. Then, a squeegee 2 is slid to print a cream solder 5 on the base plate 4. Then, the motor M2 is reversed to descend the base plate 4 slowly, so that a good snap-off is attained.
