Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a focusing condition in which expansion of a leg member is blocked in a simple work by constituting a focusing fixing means for blocking expansion of the leg member by engaging an engaging part with an engaged part in a condition in which the leg member is contracted.
CONSTITUTION: In the supporting device of a tripod, leg members 3a, 3b, 3c are provided with an engaging part 23 and an engaged part 24 respectively. In a condition in which the leg members 3a to 3c are focused and contracted, the engaging part 23 of the first leg member 3a is engaged with the engaged part 24 of the second leg member 3b, the engaging part 23 of the second leg member 3b is engaged with the engaged part 24 of the third leg member 3c, the engaging part 23 of the third leg member 3c is engaged with the engaged part 24 of the first leg member 3a, and expansions of the leg members 3a to 3c are blocked. When the supporting device is not used, the leg members 3a to 3c are focused and contracted. As a result, a focusing fixing means is operated automatically so as to obtain a focusing condition which is not expanded instantly.
