To support the base end part of a vibrator of a three-leg tuning fork type, a two-leg tuning fork type, etc., stably by the use of a minimum number of parts.
The base end part 1B of a vibrator made out of a piezoelectric material having vibrating arms 1a, 1b, 1c is surface-joined to the fixing board 6a of a supporting member 6 and is glued with a conductive adhesive agent, and all driving electrodes provided on the vibrator 1 are in continuity with the supporting member 6. And the supporting leg 6b of the supporting member 6 is inserted into a circuit board 7 and soldered, connecting the driving electrodes to the pattern of the circuit board 7 electrically. Consequently, the number of distributing wires necessary becomes only three i.e., a lead wire 10a for a grounding electrode 4, and lead wires 10b1, 10b2 for detecting electrodes 5a, 5b.
