Abstract:

To provide a supporting member for the inner side of an ankle and a supporter for the inner side of an ankle for reliably preventing varus sprains of an ankle and enabling a user to wear normal shoes when being attached.

The supporting member for the inner side of an ankle is equipped with a pressing/fixing part 11 which bends circumferentially in the upper tibia part of a medial malleolus part of the ankle and is pressed against and fixed on the tibia part, a medial malleolus part accommodating part 12 which extends downward from the pressing/fixing part 11 and bulges outward not to compress the medial malleolus part of the ankle, a compression part 13 which extends downward from the medial malleolus part accommodating part 12 and compresses a talus part, a navicular bone part, and a calcaneal bone which continue from the lower part of the medial malleolus part of the ankle, and a bending end part 14 which extends downward from the compression part 13 and goes around the sole part of a foot.
