To provide a supporting stand with which the height of placing plate part can be easily adjusted.
A supporting stand T1 is provided with an almost horizontally arranged supporting pole 8 having inserting holes 8g and 8i for inserting a vertical bar 5 on the side of root while having a placing plate part 9 on the side of top end, connection pole 12 vertically extended while being supported by the supporting pole 8 on the side of root, and lock lever 16 almost horizontally arranged while being supported on the top end side of the connection pole 12. The lock lever 16 has a through hole 16c for inserting the vertical bar 5 on the side of root rather than the supported section with the connection pole 12. On the top end side of the lock lever 16 rather than the supported section with the connection pole 12, a spring 18 is arranged for pulling the top end side so as to make it closer to the side of the supporting pole 8 in comparison with the root side of the lock lever 16.
