To suppress a twisting force around the axis of a shaft acting on a crankshaft by an inertial force of a flywheel.
In a supporting structure of a crankshaft 21 integrally rotated with a flywheel 7 pivoted by a crankcase 10, a crankcase cover 11 is provided to a side of the crankcase 10 to accommodate the flywheel 7 in the inner side thereof. An end 23a of the crankshaft 21 is protruded outside of the flywheel 7. An end bearing part 20 is formed in the crankcase cover 11 to pivot the end 23a of the crankshaft 21. By so doing, the flywheel 7 follows the rotation of the crankshaft 21 so as to facilitate the rotation of the crankshaft 21. When the rotation of the crankshaft 21 is accelerated/decelerated, therefore, a twisting force around the axis of a shaft acting on the crankshaft 21 can be suppressed by an inertial force of the flywheel 7.
