Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a panel supporting structure light in weight and capable of surely supporting a panel by providing nipping parts nipping the end of the panel as a holding part holding the panel.
SOLUTION: In this structure for supporting the flat panel 6 by an X-shaped supporting member 1, the panel 6 is nipped by a flat panel fixing part 2, a cushioning material and the member 1 in cooperation with each other. The cushioning material is arranged near each corner of the panel 6 and held inside the fixing part 2. Since the member 1 is along a diagonal linking the respective corners of the panel 6, two bars are crossed just in the vicinity of the center of the panel 6. The panel 6 is mechanically fixed at four ends. Since four corners of a rear cover 10 are also mechanically fixed, the panel 6 has sufficient strength to external load in X and Y directions in spite of that the weight of the member 1 is light.
