PURPOSE: To properly set a part of arranging a protective bearing and to form a supporting member into thin thickness, so that forming into small size of the supporting member and a device can be realized.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary shaft 2 is inserted to be arranged in an almost cylindrical supporting member. The supporting member is constituted of the first supporting member 3a of constituting a base part side and of the second supporting member 3b connected to an upper part of the first supporting member 3a to constitute a point end part side. A radial magnetic bearing 4 of supporting the rotary shaft 2 in a radial direction is provided in the second supporting member 3b. A protective bearing 6, taking a charge of impact force when abnormally rotated the rotary shaft 2, is provided in the vicinity of a connecting part between both the supporting members 3a, 3b in the first supporting member 3a.
