Abstract:

To obtain a suppressing agent capable of preventing the dust generation and the hardening of a fly ash by containing a specific substance in water or in water and an alcohol.

This suppressing agent for dust generation and hardening of a fly ash, is obtained as a mixture solution consisting of 1-20wt.% polysaccharide of any of a sugar, saccharose, sucrose, a starch, pectin, a lignin, a chitin, a cellulose with rest of water or the water and an alcohol. As the alcohol, a monohydric lower alcohol (e.g.; ethyl alcohol and methyl alcohol) is preferable, and the content thereof is ≤25wt.%. A solution in the state of dissolving a polysaccharide with water is preferable, but a mixture in the state of sufficiently dispersing the polysaccharide into water or a mixture solution of the water with the alcohol can also be used. By adding 10-30 pt.wt. suppressing agent based on 100 pts.wt. fly ash, it is possible to prevent the fly ash from the dust generation without hardening the fly ash.
