PURPOSE: To increase the appearent SN, by assuring the communication without the break of communication at the mobile communication having frequent reception level, through the regulation of noise signal and the band limit by demodulation signal according to the reception level.
CONSTITUTION: Incoming electromagnetic waves are amplified at a high frequency amplifying circuit 2, are fed to a mixing circuit of the next stage, where they are converted into intermediate frequency and amplified at an intermediate frequency amplifying circuit 5. The output of the intermediate frequency amplifying circuit 5 is fed to a frequency discrimination circuit 6 and level detection is made at a level detection circuit 7 of a band limit noise suppression circuit 10. Further, a control signal is produced from a band control signal generating circuit 8 only when the level detected is small. The band width of a variable band limit circuit 9 is determined with this band control signal and noise signals are suppressed through the band limit of the sound signal demodulated at the frequency discriminating circuit 6 and the audio signal is fed to a low frequency amplifying circuit 11 and output from a speaker as the sound signal suppressing noise signals.
