Abstract:
A restraining member is disposed inside a muffler mounted on a vehicle. The restraining member has a wall portion, a mounting portion, and one or more holes. The wall portion separates the suppressionspace from the other space in an open state, and the mounting portion is disposed at the edge of the opening; in a state where the opening is covered by a plate-like outer casing member forming the outer surface of the muffler, the mounting portion is mounted inside an outer casing. The suppression space covered by the outer casing member and the wall portion is enabled to communicate with the space outside the suppression space via the one or more holes.
