PURPOSE: To correctly obtain a necessary characteristic by connecting the electric terminal of a surface accoustic wave element and a package lead through a conductor line provided at the surface of an insulator.
CONSTITUTION: An electric signal impressed to a package lead 5 at a left side is added to an input side interdigital electrode 2 through a lead wire 6 and a conductor line 9 and excites a surface accoustic wave. The surface accoustic wave excited by the electrode 2 is converted to the electric signal again by the electrode at a right side and the signal is outputted through the line 9 and the lead wire 6 to the package lead 5. Here, the line 9 is composed of the material having the same electric characteristic as an external circuit, the dielectric constant for an insulator 8 is larger than the air, and therefore, an electric magnetic field formed by the line 9 is collected to the internal part of the insulator 8 and the irradiation of the electromagnetic wave to the air is decreased. For this reason, an electric coupling component not to pass through the surface accoustic wave between the package lead 5 at the input side and the package lead 5 at the output side is decreased.
