PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface acoustic wave device, especially a SAW duplexer, the isolation characteristics of which can be improved.SOLUTION: In a surface acoustic wave device, especially a SAW duplexer including an antenna port 201, a transmission port 204, and balance reception output ports 201, 203 on a substrate, the GND pattern 205 of the transmission port formed on the antenna hot lead line on the transmission side is arranged between the antenna hot lead line on the transmission side and the antenna hot lead line 207 on the reception side, and the GND pattern 208 of a balance reception port 202 formed on the antenna hot lead line 207 on the reception side is arranged so as to separate the GND pattern 205 and the antenna hot lead line 207 on the reception side.
