Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of short circuit between a pair of comb-shaped electrodes when an AC voltage is applied to an interdigital electrode composed of the pair of comb-shaped electrodes in a surface acoustic wave element.SOLUTION: The surface acoustic wave element includes: a crystal substrate 10; a base metal layer 21 of a face-centered cubic structure formed on the crystal substrate 10; and an interdigital electrode composed of a pair of comb-shaped electrodes 20A, 20B containing a gold layer 22 formed on an upper layer of the base metal layer 21. The pair of comb-shaped electrodes 20A, 20B are formed on the crystal substrate 10 so as to face with each other in a state of being not in contact.
