Abstract:
To provide a surface course and foundation course reinforcement structure of a pavement in which metal surface material is disposed in surface course and foundation course portions, the structure capable of resisting flexure and shear caused by a vehicle contacting the ground.
In a pavement, a pavement layer 2 is put on the upper portion of a foundation support layer 1, and the pavement layer 2 has metal surface material 3 disposed therein, nearly in parallel with a road surface, wherein the metal surface material may be disposed in an upper pavement layer of the pavement layer 2.
