Abstract:
To provide a surface heater appropriate for defrosting frozen ground and for curing concrete in cold regions and snow cover regions.
The surface heater is provided with a surface-formed heating body in which carbon fibers are made to be an exothermic resistor, an insulting synthetic resin film layer, and a synthetic resin film layer, installed at least at one of the synthetic resin film layer and having a reflection layer. The carbon fibers to radiate infrared rays at high efficiency is used as the exothermic resistor, and by arranging the reflecting layer at a side to face a heated body, radiation amount of the infrared rays is increased substantially, and heated body can be heated efficiently.
