Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light laser in which a microlens is formed integrally such that it can move freely to the laser light output side so that means for adjusting the position of other focus lens or the focus position of light can be eliminated at the time of constituting an optical system.
SOLUTION: The surface light laser comprises a surface light laser section for emitting laser light in the laying direction of semiconductor substance layers, a microlens formed of a substance transmitting light emitted from the surface light laser section, and a part interposed between the surface light laser section and the microlens and varying the interval between them. Since means for adjusting other focus lens or the focus position of light is not required at the time of constituting an optical system, the structure for arranging the optical axis is simplified and the degree of freedom is increased in the arrangement while deceasing the number of components significantly.
