Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a light utilization efficiency in a surface light source device used together with a reflective liquid crystal display panel as a back light.
SOLUTION: Light beam f3 leaked aslant from the rear surface of a light guide plate 25 enters into a prism sheet 27, and is reflected by a reflecting surface 32. The light beam f3 reflected in the reflecting surface 32 is reflected in a direction vertical to the prism sheet 27, passes the light guide plate 25, and is ejected from the light guide plate 25 in a direction vertical to the light outgoing surface 30 thereof.
