PURPOSE: To obtain the surface mount crystal vibrator simply manufactured by using a crystal vibrator manufactured by a small amount multi-kind production in which an excellent bonding state between a lead wire and a lead terminal of the crystal vibrator is maintained.

CONSTITUTION: Lead terminals 3a, 3b connecting to lead wires 11a, 11b of a crystal vibrator 1 are extended to the outside of a case 2, the crystal vibrator is contained in a hollow part 21 of the case 2 to imbed the crystal vibrator 1 by the resin 13 as the surface mount crystal vibrator. In this case, a projection 23 in press contact with the lead wires 11a, 11b of the crystal vibrator 1 substantially is formed to part of the hollow part 21 of the case 2 to minimize the packed quantity of the resin 13 and production of undesired air gap is suppressed around a bonded part of the lead wires 11a, 11b and the lead terminals 3a, 3b.
