Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the coupling between an input terminal electrode and an output terminal electrode by stray capacity and to make external coupling capacity large.
CONSTITUTION: Internal conductor electrodes 61 and 62 are formed on the inner peripheral surface of a dielectric 2 which has two through holes 3 and 4 which extend axially, and an external conductor electrode 5 and input/output terminal electrodes 7 and 8 are formed on the outer peripheral surface to constitute the surface mount type dielectric filter 1. A separate electrode 9 is provided between the terminal electrodes 7 and 8 of a mount surface 22 successively from the external conductor electrode 5 to reduce the stray capacitance generated between both the terminal electrodes 7 and 8, Which are formed around from the mount surface 22 to both flanks 22 and 24 to increase the coupling area between the terminal electrodes 7 and 8 and internal conductor electrodes 61 and 62, thereby making the external coupling capacity large.
