To improve the connection reliability between the terminals of a coil and terminals by paying attention to the insulation of the terminals from their proximity elements by preventing the terminals from coming out entirely on the side face of an external core except necessary portions and, in addition, to easily make the terminals commonly usable by easily positioning the terminals.

A surface-mounted inductance element is provided with a drum core (1) which has a flange section (1a) at, at least, its upper end and is wound with the coil (2) and the external core (3) which is arranged on the outer periphery of the drum core (1) and provided with the terminals (4) and a plurality of terminal fitting holes (3a). The terminals (4) having locking sections (4a) at their lower ends are fitted in the holes (3a) and the terminals (2a) of the coil (2) are connected to the terminals (4) on or under the flange section (1a) on the upper surface of the externals core (3).
