Title:
SURFACE MOUNTED PIEZOELECTRIC RESONATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004135090
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve a problem that difficulty of resin coating of an IC part causes deficiencies of a surface mounted piezoelectric oscillator having a structure where a piezoelectric vibrator is laminated on an upper face of a base plate with the IC part and a bump electrode mounted on a lower face.

The surface mounted piezoelectric oscillator 0 is provided with a container 1 having electrodes on both faces of the base plate 2, the piezoelectric vibrators 3 mounted on a surface of the container, the IC part 24 mounted on a rear face of the container, a plurality of large bumps 8 which are mounted on an outer peripheral position of the IC part and higher than the IC part, and resin 21 for embedding the IC part at the rear face of the container. Dams 30 surrounding the IC part are protrusively arranged at the rear face of the container and the IC part is coated with resin with which inner sides of the dams are filled.
